Over 70 years ago in the heart of Baton Rouge, the vision of Louisiana Fire Extinguisher was created by founder John Mallory Grace Sr. His determined, entrepreneurial spirit laid the foundation for Louisiana Fire Extinguisher to become one of the largest Fire Protection and Safety companies in Louisiana. Sons Henry and John Grace continued their father’s hard work with determination and love for the company resulting in strong growth and expansion. Henry Grace was named President of Louisiana Fire Extinguisher in 1980, leading the company to add additional services with a strong focus on quality and accountability. Henry’s children Jay and Sarah grew up learning the business from their father, leading them to both take on large roles within the company. As Vice President, Jay redeveloped Shop Services with state of the art equipment to Certify and Recondition thousands of cylinders per month. In 2019, Sarah took on the role of CEO, instituting processes and procedures to manage the accelerated growth of the company, as well as implementing cutting edge software to better serve customers.
